I questioned some Mormons today

as a result of my fading from the jw religion, i have taken an interest in the mormon religion.

personally i think mormonisim is a bigger con than the jw religion.

with all knowledge i've been acquiring, i was interested to find out what the followers of the mormon religion knew about the churches history.

joe, the Mormons encourage their members to be highly functional in the World and even donate to charity and be highly involved with their communties.

Two of my doctors are Mormons, when was the last time you meet a doctor who was raised a Jehovah's Witness? There are a few doctors who joined the Watchtower after being told half-truths how we view education but Mormons are proud to get their kids educated.

Mormons are having problems with the Internet like other groups, kids are asking their parents questions about Joseph Smith, B. Young and their views on different races. Mormon kids don't get expelled for against questions, they are not punished because they want answers why their leaders acted poorly and now the Mormon Church is trying to get ahead of their questions by hiring public relations firms to address the concerns instead of blowing off, ignoring their kids concerns and questions. When have JWs ever been honest about their past, they hide, they lie and prevarication is their key weapon against truth!

The Watchtower is so arrogant your not allowed to ask questions, your not allowed to "Keep Testing (Rev 2:1-4) or prove your in the Truth by aligning the Watchtower's teaching with the Bible. The Mormons don't claim to follow the Bible totally, they have been honest by stating the Book of Mormon has a higher rank. These college kids are asking plenty of questions, don't think their blinded like JWs because they are fighting against a past as bad as the JWs and dealing with it, not kicking people out for wanting to know the truth about their Past!

I read the KM and only quote a few sad paragraphs, you can feel their work is dying unless we get total Worldly Chaos or some terrible event creating interest otherwise they provide no value to society!

Is he angry because of an untrue rumor that he has heard about us? If so, you might say: “I can understand why that would upset you. However, it seems that what you have heard about usis not accurate. May I explain?” Does he object to one of our beliefs, perhaps regarding disfellowshipping or blood? You could say: “I understand. Others have expressed the same concerns. May I show you from the Bible the basis for that teaching?”

If the person is highly agitated, it may be best to take your leave without trying to reply. If he asks that Jehovah’s Witnesses not visit him again, you can assure him that his wishes will be honored..."

Poster country flags and privacy

the new forum originally had a little country flag next to each post showing the country that the post was made from based on the geoip encoding (the country the ip address is from).

before i switched over to the new site someone made an issue about it violating their privacy and i didn't want to complicate and confuse the switchover with policy debate at the same time as technical issues so removed the flags even though i disagreed.. someone has already requested it as a feature and i think it should be added back so i thought it's now time to open the discussion and get everyone's opinions.

Simon how do we prevent ourselves from getting out'ed on Pro J.W. websites? What you said happened to me when I joined paying service website. A Troll was posting our Internet ISP numbers and our ISP Email Address and put the pieces together and posted our First and Last initials. How was he able to pull this off, was it web links he posted and we clicked on because he did not have access to Admin functions. He was very computer savy, it was said he worked for Optical Coating, Lucent and Cisco before getting fired. The website owner finally kicked him off because he was behaving badly by posting information he was not suppose to.

I think if you educated people it's not a "Flag" that' going to expose them but things we put or don't put inside our web-browser this fear might dispel from people worried. For someone like him, a real Troll, he got off on revealing people's names on the website! How was he pulling this off, was it "tracking software" because he did not have administration access so we must have clicked on one of his web pages and got nailed? Can you explain how and what we are plugging in our browsers that might be revealing too much private data a Troll could use? No Flag symbol has the power to expose what the Troll was doing, how was he doing this?

Is that why people are using "Hide My Ass" and clicking Autonomous and "No Cookies"? What say you?

Showing a country doesn't really narrow down where they are to any great degree but makes them aware that "what, a website can tell where I am?!"

Perhaps they should look into things more and be educated about taking care of their own security. Naively drifting from site to site in the belief that "the internet is anonymous, I saw it on the news" is putting them more at risk than showing their country which may actually help them."

That issue has been explained already by the circuit overseer, he was asked about that question and said that witnesses are more emotional as the Last Days continue unabated. It's not a sin to if "your suffering from mental illness to wrongfully be a partaker the emblems because the Bible made no provisions for this Wicked System lasting longer than it was suppose to!" Paul's stern warning that only the true anointed should take of the body of Christ!

The new Boss Man is Crash! He has a answer for everything that's troubling the Witnesses and apparently it's "mental illness" and "A very tired Old Wicked System making people think they have hopes they don't but Jehovah is merciful and forgives their wrong thinking!"

this is going around the kingdom halls now, i thought it was a hoax but are not all the end time dates produced by the organization some hoax or con?

the reason why the end did not come in 1975 was the watchtower society had not put eve's creation in their equation.

i was told when we had a "meet and greet" if "we knew the date of eve's creation we would know the year jehovah was going to destroy the earth.. it's been 40 years since 1975, can you believe it's been 40 years since "stay alive till 1975!"?

Eve's Creation is one of those mysteries used to keep the witnesses agitated, speculators since 1975 have used oral tradition, counting of animal species (Adam had work to do, naming the animals taking time) and working on the Garden of Eden before he proved his worth to God. With JWs everyone's got to prove their worth before God does something good for them, before books like "The Bible Code" older witnesses twisted verses for Eve's creation to align with 80 years past 1914 (Super Might Generation) to salvage 1975 and 1914 from the trash heap.

A great number of Witnesses are in financial trouble due to their wreck-less spending and unwilling attitude to get a job or jobs to support lifestyles they can't maintain. This has people near financial ruin spreading rumors Eve's Creation was Forty Years (Forth Years in the Wilderness) and Jehovah lead us through the Red Sea in 1975 and faithlessness on the part of materialistic and greedy witnesses unwilling to part with their riches and give Jehovah's Organization their all, has us stuck in the Sinai Desert until the older doubters die off in the Worldly Wilderness.

Cult thinking creeps me out, their going to do something weird because I know people working on projects and the attitude is depressed, the Governing Body no longer believe we are in the End-Times and that's why they liquidated their assets want no part of some terrorist attack on the Big City. Watchtower is building bunkers of safety for their Elite, watch and see!

The views on Eve's Creation are varied, the minimum time theorized by the Watchtower speculators was twenty years, at one of the conventions they were firm about Eve not being created for a long time so Adam could learn to trust on Jehovah. If humans lived 900+ years it's not hard think Adam had lots of work and other meaningful tasks set before him. They failed in prophecy but kept the "Eve's Creation" trump card available to keep witnesses agitated. Eve's creation after a few months is hard to imagine, most Watchtower trained Bible Scholars thought the "oral tradition" left Eve's birth twenty to one hundred years after Adam's creation.

There's little mention of Jesus compared to other churches the Watchtower speaks very little about him. I wonder why they are so afraid of Jesus Christ?

while you are sitting there reading this, there are literally hundreds of thousands of young males and females all over the world [ mostly in america / canada and england] sitting in their grotty little smelly bedrooms or flats, designing computer viruses that they will up-load onto web-sites to cause anonymous innocent peoples computers to malfunction.

these creeps spend literally weeks,months or even years hoping to make a computer viruses that will get into peoples computer bios to completely destroy their computers.

they never see the peoples anger, frustration and distress.... the damage can cost each person about 1,000 [ $1,660.74 ] or more to replace a basic new laptop or tower.

after going through my teenage years trying to be the perfect jw, i realized that trying to live up to the standards imposed on me have been for worse & not for better.

i was feeling miserable, repressed, unfulfilled, with a great lack of self confidence & self esteem.

That's the only reason most JWs kids told the elders why they were getting married. "We don't want to get disfellowshiped for fornication so we are going to get married" nothing about love or partnership, a strange religion. I am happy the new kids don't listen to the elders nor do they give a dam what the Organization things about their wild kinky sex.

The young kids are funny (ages 19 to 27) when they tell you they only got married for sex, this must be a Cult thing?
